Litigation Associate - Labor & Employment

License Required: Must be admitted to the California State Bar

Our clients seek an associate with 3 or more years of experience to join their Labor and Employment department. Wage and hour class action experience is a must.

Responsibilities:

• The associate's practice will focus on employment litigation, including single plaintiff and class action matters.
• In addition to a strong employment litigation background, experience in providing employment law advice and client counseling is required.
• Traditional labor law experience is a plus.
• Candidates must be admitted to the State Bar of California.
• Strong academic credentials are required.
• The base compensation offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the selected candidate's qualifications and years of relevant experience.
• Associates who meet this firm's minimum performance standards (including billing at least 1900 hours), can reasonably expect total compensation (base salary plus a discretionary bonus) ranging from $375k to $425k.
• The discretionary bonus may also be increased based on the number of hours billed and collected in excess of 1900 hours.
• Separately, the Firm credits associates with an additional bonus on work they originate.
